SHIPPING

The CM-1 arrives in one palletized crate.

87-3/4" X 64" X 53"
Crate Weight (full): 710-730lbs (approx.)

When your Angel of Water® colonic system is shipped, you can feel confident that it will arrive safely. Your colonic equipment comes in one professionally-engineered crate and is shipped with bonded, approved common carriers. Lifestream’s dedication to excellence extends to the shipping and crating process: our system has generated a 100% delivery success rate with out customers. Our success results from quality and attention to detail. For instance, our crates are one of a kind, designed specifically for each Angel of Water® shipped. Shipping can sometimes damage a product, so we adopted practices used by computer mainframe manufacturers to insure your product had a safe trip to your door. Each crate is equipped with a SHOCHWATCH meter, similar to a TIP-n-TELL mechanism. These mechanisms alert you upon receipt of your device if it has been handled roughly or dropped. We treat shipping as part of our business and an important part of our relationship with our clients.

Shipping: Safe Delivery of Your Colon Hydrotherapy system and Colon Irrigation system

There are a few things you should know about accepting, unloading, and transporting your colon hydrotherapy equipment. Anticipate what help you will need (tools, people to help you) before receiving your colon hydrotherapy system. Have a loaded camera available to document any damage that may have occurred during shipping. You will need a crow bar, a Phillips head screwdriver, and a 9/16 - inch wrench or crescent wrench for unpacking. Follow the directions as posted on the outside of the two shipping crates.

Before acceptance of the shipment and before signing the delivery receipt, you must inspect shipping crates for any visible damage. Please note that you are accepting the freight based on the outward appearance of the crates only. The condition of the contents is as yet unknown and you may not be able to fully inspect them before the driver leaves to continue his route or at the shipping dock or port. There is a SHOCKWATCH meter or TIP-n-TELL meter on the inside and outside of each shipping crate. If these meters read red (are in the damage zone), this indicates that the common carrier has slammed your crate around and/or dropped it. You will need to note on the delivery receipt the status of the outer SHOCKWATCH meter if it reads red before the driver leaves.

After inspecting the colon irrigation system, leave it in the protective wood crate bottoms until you have transported it to the location of your colon hydrotherapy room. Use every care not to damage the lamination when moving the cabinets into place. Once you see that the colon cleansing equipment is completely intact, begin installation in accordance with your Angel of Water® CM-1 installation guide to be found in the plastic billing file that is placed in the basin cabinet drawer. Once this is done, the healthcare practitioner can begin conducting professional colon cleansing sessions.

INSTALLATION

(Sample Floor Plan: for a 10x10 room with equipment installed; Designing an Appropriate Room: Four steps for maximizing utility of equipment; Aerial View & Dimensions of Angel of Water®; Blank Floor Plan Grid; Rough Installation Guide)

NOTE: There is only one (right-handed) orientation for the Angel of Water® CM-1.

The following five steps will prepare your room for the installation of the Angel of Water® CM-1.

Step 1. Electrical Outlet and Rough Plumbing Placement. An aerial view of the Angel of Water® CM-1 Surround appears below. Both electrical outlet and rough plumbing (Hot, Cold, Drain Connections) need to be placed in one of the Ranges A, B, or C pictured. You may choose area A, B, or C depending upon your room constraints.

Step 2. Outlet Installation. Install an outlet socket that conforms to national and local electrical standards (110V for U.S. and Canada/220V for Europe and Asia) in the wall closest to the Angel of Water® CM-1 Surround. We recommend a hospital grade (green dot) duplex outlet or a GFCI outlet. For UK, we recommend an RCD (residual current device) protected socket outlet. Consult a licensed (qualified) electrician to determine the particular needs of your space. Your room is now ready for preparation of the rough plumbing.

Step 3. Rough Plumbing Installation. Consult a licensed (qualified) plumber. Plumbing must comply with all building and water supply regulations for your area. A) Install the drain pipe so that it is 8 inches (20.3 cm) from the center of the pipe off the floor or less, BUT NOT MORE THAN 8 INCHES. See figure below. A wall-mounted drain pipe is shown. A floormounted drain is also acceptable..

B) The Angel of Water® CM-1 Surround requires both a hot and cold line connection. The hot and cold water supply lines coming from the wall should be in the side or back corner of the clinic room where System is to be placed. The connection valves must have 1/2-inch (1.3 cm) male threads. The drain must be a 2-inch (5.1 cm) PVC pipe or larger. These rough plumbing supplies are not included with your System.

C) Obtain an estimated length of 2-inch (5.1 cm) PVC pipe and a P-trap (not included). Lay out the 2-inch (5.1 cm) PVC pipe and P-trap on the floor and configure as appropriate to your needs. DO NOT GLUE INTO PLACE YET. See below. 1) Back Wall Placement of Electrical Outlet and Rough Plumbing If back wall is used for outlet and rough plumbing (Hot, Cold, Drain), make placement either inside of 7 inches (0 - 17.8 cm) from the corner of the room (RANGE A) OR between 10 and 26 inches (25.4 - 66 cm) from the corner (RANGE B) to avoid interfering with the supporting leg and sides of the Surround basin cabinet. 2) Side Wall Placement of Electrical Outlet and Rough Plumbing If side wall is used for outlet and rough plumbing (Hot, Cold, Drain), make placement between 12 and 48 inches (30.5 – 121.9 cm) from the corner of the room (RANGE C) to avoid interfering with the supporting leg and sides of the Surround basin cabinet.

Your rough plumbing is complete and your room is now ready for placement of the System.

Step 4. Basin Cabinet Placement. Place Angel of Water® Surround basin cabinet next to your rough plumbing for making the plumbing and electrical connections. See figure below.

Step 5. Tower Cabinet Placement. Align tower cabinet in front of basin as shown. A) Lay Drain Pipe (with compression fitting hidden under basin) supplied by Lifestream on floor in front of tower cabinet.

B) Unroll 3 electrical cords located under basin cabinet as shown.

Step 5. Tower Cabinet Placement, continued. C) Connect Drain Pipe to tower by tightening female union to male thread as shown. D) Place all 3 electrical cords through tower rectangular opening as shown.

E) Then slide the two cabinets together until they are snug, as shown, making sure that round male threads from basin drain go into round tower cabinet opening.

Step 5. Tower Cabinet Placement, continued. F) Secure two cabinets together by screwing thumb wing bolt and washer supplied by Lifestream into hole on inside tower wall near bottom of cabinet. Step 6. Tower Drain Assembly Installation. A) Now place Cup and Drain Assembly supplied by Lifestream on floor as shown. Slide into place and connect both female unions to male threads. Tighten completely.

Step 6. Tower Drain Assembly Installation, continued. B) Align Tank Exit over Cup and Drain Assembly. This is an “Air Gap” which keeps the tank above sanitary and the drain below separate.

Step 7. Electrical Cord Connections. Now plug each cord into its appropriate receptacle on the lower junction box. Double check to make sure this is done correctly or the corresponding function will not work. The cords are color matched. Perform this check before you plug the power cord into your external electrical source. The cords are as follows:

Step 8. Connecting Basin to Tower Connectors. A) Locate tower and basin 1/2-inch (1.3 cm) connecting pipes supplied by Lifestream with fittings as shown.

B) Connect those pipes and gaskets by HAND TIGHTENING them SECURELY to front of basin and front of tower, as shown below.

Step 9. Final Hot and Cold Connections from Basin Cabinet to Rough Plumbing. A) Look inside large basin cabinet access doors and connect hot and cold valves on the wall to the Surround hot and cold male connectors (1/2 inch male thread) (1.3cm) with appropriate connectors (flex tube or CPVC, not included), as shown below. Consult your licensed (qualified) plumber for appropriate materials. NOTE: HOT Line is RED (left); COLD Line is BLUE (right). Your Angel of Water® CM-1 Surround should now have: (1) All electrical cord connectors between basin and tower cabinets plugged in. (2) Tower Drain Assembly installed and Drain Pipe that is connected on the tower male fitting ready for final drain connection (next page). (3) Complete connection to the external hot and cold water source. DO NOT TURN ON HOT AND COLD VALVES FROM THE WALL TO YOUR SYSTEM YET.

Step 10. Final Drain Connection. A) Make any final adjustment to the rough plumbing length of 2-inch (5.1 cm) pipe and the Drain Pipe connected to the tower before connecting them with the compression fitting included as shown. Rough plumbing with P-trap that you supplied will be to the left and the Drain Pipe (supplied by Lifestream) from the tower will be on the right. B) Connect compression fitting to the P-trap and to the tower Drain Pipe. Pipe may have to be shortened or lengthened depending on placement range chosen by you (A, B, or C). Tighten completely.

Step 11. Connecting your Exhaust Fan. When all other final connections are made, connect your exhaust fan port on the top of the tower cabinet. Connect 1 1/2 inch (3.8 cm) draftpipe (not included) to exhaust port fittings (supplied by Lifestream) at the top of the tower and vent either through the side wall or through the ceiling and to area (outside) determined by your building code.

Step 12. Mirror Installation. The mirror has a bottom hinge to attach to tower cabinet, an eyelet to hold the chain, and the chain itself. Install mirror on front of tower to right of viewing window in the pre-drilled holes.

A) Screw small eyelet provided into top pre-drilled hole. B) Remove and then connect screw on lower hole on front of the tower cabinet to inside of hinge at the base of the mirror. C) Connect chain as shown. D) Adjust for appropriate viewing angle of the viewing tube.

Step 13. Plugging Power Cord to Electrical Source. Plug the pronged end of the power supply cord into the electrical outlet (socket) on the wall you prepared in Step 2 underneath the Surround basin cabinet in Range A, B, or C. NOTE: Lifestream supplies a 110 V or 220 V cord that is country specific. YOUR ANGEL OF WATER® CM-1 SURROUND IS NOW INSTALLED.

Step 14. Preparation of System for Use. A) OPEN Surround basin cabinet large doors. B) OPEN hot and cold valves at the wall. Reach inside basin cabinet large doors to open Valves #9 and #10.

Locate LIGHT switch on tower control panel. Turn on LIGHTS switch and make sure that tower and basin lights come on.

.

NOTE: Both tower and remote FLOW switches must be in ON position for that function to work (the indicator light confirms FLOW is on). The FLOW function will stop and indicator light will go off automatically even though switch is in the ON position if water temperature should exceed 103 degrees F. (39.8 C.) and will come back on automatically once water is cooled to 102 degrees F. (38.8 C.).

Before using the unit you will need to configure it for use; see VALVE SETTINGS
